The highest form of East Asian medicine is that of prevention, but our goal is to meet you wherever you are on your wellness journey. Since many people have not yet tried acupuncture, our passion is to provide the most positive first experience possible and establish trust while providing the space for patients to feel seen and heard. We believe in utilizing the full scope of our medicine, which includes acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, bodywork, electrical stim, topicals/liniments, Chinese herbal medicine, dietary therapy, and lifestyle guidance. Treatment plans are developed for each individual patient to best serve you and your wellness goals. We provide person-centered wholistic treatment and support, backed by research and clinical experience to provide the best possible care.

As an established patient, our numerous treatment strategies will be at our disposal to treat symptoms that arise. A patient may initially start treatment for a digestive or pain complaint, but later need help recovering from a surgery or a cold. Since East Asian medicine is a comprehensive medical system and there are few complaints that we do not have treatment strategies for. In addition, we have access to current research and resources for supplements and Chinese medicinals. We encourage all patients to reach out with any questions or new issues, since East Asian medicine has so much to offer in the way of treatment options.
We want you to feel confident in starting treatment and in your treatment plans that we provide. As every healthy meal, every good night’s sleep, every time you exercise is not a waste but an investment in your health, so are acupuncture treatments. While treatment success cannot be guaranteed since every patient is different, there are many factors that guide prognosis: how long the patient has been experiencing symptoms, age, and complexity of illness for example. Some patients also respond to acupuncture differently. Some patients need less intense treatments. Some complaints resolve faster than others. At Ruby Acupuncture Clinic, your personalized treatment plan is updated regularly to make sure that both the practitioner and patient are in agreement about progress and frequency of treatments. We believe in open communication about treatment progress and building trust with patients.
The most successful patient stories do have certain things in common. Are you ready to make positive changes in your life and understand that wellness requires effort? Are you willing to adopt better sleeping, eating, and exercise habits? Are you willing to adopt new stress coping strategies? Are you receptive to receiving treatment (as no one can be dragged against their will into wellness)? Are you willing to remove the barriers to good health in your lifestyle?
If this sounds like you, then pursuing treatment at Ruby Acupuncture Clinic could help you!
